There are three ways to select a folder, highlighted in red above.

You can either choose a folder of images, or if you shoot setup-based you can choose a folder with sub-folders containing each setup (see example below).

Note: if prompted to "Close Preview Pane for Better Performance" it is suggested that you select "Hide Images".

Settings and Upload:

1. Choose New Project, and enter Project name; OR Select Add to Project and select from dropdown menu.

2. Check this box if you are uploading a project that is broken into setups. There are three options. Use Folder Names for Setups will create setups based on the names of the subfolders of your main folder (in the example above, three setups would be created: ben-curtain, ben-stage, and prelight). Enter Setup for All Images will assign all the images you upload to one setup (useful for adding an additional setup to a project that already has one or more setups). Attempt to Preserve Naming will break your images into setups if they are named according to DigitalFusion’s naming convention of subject_SETUP_filenumber.

3. Use this area to select which images you want to upload by checking the appropriate boxes. You can also click "Check All" to select all the images.

4. Click ‘Pro View’ if you’d like to enter specifics about your project, such as Subject, Client, Date, Location, Copyright, Notes, URL.

5. Click Upload. If you would like your images copied to a secondary location (e.g. a HardFilm) in order to send a copy to DigitalFusion for addition to your Archive click ‘Create Archive’. Otherwise click ‘Do Not Archive’. A new window will open showing the progress of your upload — once the upload is complete you can log in to your account to view your images.
