What is the HardFilm Network?
Our HardFilm Netowrk provides you a no-cost approach to use HardFilms while shooting and as a means for delivering your digital files to DigitalFuison for processing, online posting or archive ingestion.
What is the charge to use the HardFilm Network?
There is no cost to you for the use of the HardFilms as long as you return them within 30 days for processing, online posting or archive ingestion. You only pay for shipping back to DigitalFusion -- we pay for shipping the drives to you at standard ground rates (you may pay for faster delivery service if desired). If you do not return a HardFilm within 30 days you will be charged the then current retail price for the drive.
What if I want to store my entire archive?
DigitalFusion can maintain a copy of a photographer's digital archive and make the images available in DF Studio. Given the size of the files (and time an upload would take) a photographer interested in this service should contact DigitalFusion. DigitalFusion's archive team can also assist a photographer and/or their studio manager in organizing and digitizing older material.
How much does archiving cost?
DigitalFusion's Archive service uses an innovative online and offline approach to archiving. Online archiving provides 24/7 access to your files at a cost of $.50 per Gb per month. Offline archiving provides delivery of needed files within 24 hours (6 hour rush available) and is available for only $0.15 per Gb per month. Your current archiving costs are always available from within DF Studio.
What if I decide to cancel?
If you cancel within the 30-day risk-free trial you will not be charged. Since your DF Studio account doesn’t have a long term contract, you are free to cancel your account at any time. Once you cancel your account you will not be billed again. No portion of a pre-paid account will be refunded.
Note: If you cancel your account all data will be deleted immediately and permanently (there is no undo).
At PhotoPlus Expo, DigitalFusion proudly released DF Studio Version 5, a major update to its DF Studio system.
As a result of the significant changes in user experience and knowing that DF Studio users have come to rely on the system for speedy and effecient editing and image delivery, DigitalFusion has decided to take a hands-on approach to migrating users from Version 4 to Version 5. Over the coming weeks, DigitalFusion will be personally contacting all Version 4 users to schedule time to review the new features, provide access to tutorial and help material and schedule an appropriate time to update the account that minimizes the impact on the user's photography business. We believe this approach will provide the smoothest transition for our users.

My login isn't working?
In making both Version 4 and Version 5 available DigitalFusion has made use of two URLs:
For accounts created before October 22, 2008 should login to Version 4 until the account is transitioned and for accounts created after October 22, 2008, users should login to Version 5. After the transition is complete all URLs will point to the new Version 5.
Must I transition from Version 4 to Version 5?
Yes, after all users have been transitioned to Version 5 DigitalFusion will stop hosting Version 4 and it will no longer be available.
Will I loose any images or data?
No, the transition from Verison 4 to Version 5 has been designed to ensure that no images or data will be lost.
